That is our belief.
And so we are always improving our language training. No one person is responsible for our staff's training. Each one of our staff realizes the importance of self-motivation and the need for individual effort to improve their language ability.

Our company values the independence of the employee so our main study activity centers on informal dialogue with our group of employees. The company takes care of all necessities such as study materials and conference rooms. Our Japanese engineers study English, and our fogeign engineers study Japanese, polishing their skills on a regular basis.

■Foreign engineer
All our foreign staff, not just our bilingual IT engineers and bridge SE's, are obligated to pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (Nihongo Noryoku Kentei) Level 2. In order to be promoted to Bridge SE, the JLPT Level 1 qualification is required.

We support our staff during the application process as well as enlisting the aid of the Japanese staff to organize informal study circles to improve business language ability.

■Japansese engineer
For our Japanese staff, our bilingual IT engineer and bridge SE's must obtain a minimum score of 700 points on TOEIC. For our Japansese staff the target TOEIC score is above 750 points. But not to worry, you can study English as you would at an English conversation school with our foreign staff but without the cost.
